Question: Are your candles "triple scented"? topAnswer:
No, they are SAFELY scented with the maximum amount of premium fragrance oil that our wax can hold. Wax is similar to a sponge and can only hold so much liquid. Using 3 times the recommended amount of fragrance is not only dangerous (it can cause a fire) but it is wasteful. We prefer to produce quality candles the smell good, burn safely and keep our customers coming back for more!
Question: Why don't your candles have those cute curled wicks? topAnswer:
Candles should only ever be lit when the wick is trimmed to the proper length. We choose to do this for our customers so as soon as they get their candle home they can light them up and start enjoying them. No reason you should have to waste time trying to figure out how much of that giant curled wick needs to be cut away.

Question: Do I really have to trim the wick EVERY time? top
Answer: YES! Yes, you really should trim the wick to 1/4 every time you light your candle. If you don't, problems can occur. The wicks of all candles can mushroom at the top, causing excessive flickering and/or smoke. Keeping your wick trimmed keeps this to a minimum and also makes your candle safer.
Question: Why is there wax left on the sides of the jar? topAnswer:
This is commonly called “tunneling.” This happens when a candle burns down the middle of the jar, leaving lots of wax stuck to the side of the jar. Tunneling can be caused by failure to keep your candle lit long enough before you extinguish it. Each time you burn a candle, try to burn it at least until the wax reaches the edge of the container. We recommend a minimum of 3 hours each time you enjoy burning it. If you must extinguish your candle early, plan to burn it a little longer the next time. This should prevent your candle from tunneling.
Question: Why is my candle wick smoking a lot while it is lit? topAnswer:
This means that the candle has been burning too long. You should extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, and trim the wick to ¼”. The wick needing to be trimmed usually causes smoking. If your wick is already trimmed to ¼”, check to make sure that your candle is not being burned in a draft. Many different things can cause this. A/C vents, ceiling fans, windows and even doorways can create a draft, and can cause your candle to not burn properly.
Question: Do you use lead wicks? topAnswer: No. Lead wicks have been outlawed in the US many years ago and cannot even be purchased. No candle produced in the US will have a lead wick. Now, imports from other Countries....that is a different story. Yet another reason to but products made in the USA!
